Your success is our purpose

If you’re an experienced clinician interested in building an independent practice with Stellar Collective, we’d love to hear from you.

We want to build long-term relationships with clinicians who share our commitment to great therapy and better participant outcomes.

Before joining Stellar Collective, we take the time to make sure independent contracting is right for you, and that your experience, professional standards and approach align with Stellar Collective.

  • Relevant qualifications and postgraduate credentials
  • A minimum of three years’ post-qualification clinical experience
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Working With Children Check, where required
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening
  • National Police Check
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Vaccination requirements, where operationally or legally required
  • Current Continuing Professional Development requirements
  • Identity verification

Getting to know you

Credentials are important, but they’re only part of what makes a great Stellar Collective Member.

We’ll meet with you as part of a pre-engagement assessment, either in person or online, to learn more about your clinical experience, approach to practice and readiness for independent contracting.

We may use realistic clinical scenarios to understand how you think and make decisions in practice. We may also ask you to provide de-identified examples of clinical documentation for review.

Strong documentation is an important part of safe, high-quality care and the experience participants and families have when working with a Stellar Member.

Is independent practice right for you?

We’ll also talk about where you are in your journey as an independent clinician.

Independent practice offers significant flexibility and autonomy, but it also comes with professional and business responsibilities. We want to understand what you need to be successful and make sure you understand how Stellar Collective works before you join.
